A new Call of Duty, named 'Black Ops', has been announced by Activision. A trailer has been released by Activision, showing that the game will be set in the Cold War, by showing a Vietnam-like jungle and militia, Huey helicopters and a SR-71 Blackbird jet. Further more a possible Prisoner Of War rescue mission is shown, together with an arctic environment and a possible Russian military complex. It also seems that Treyarch has improved the gore in their new title, as the video shows a soldier loosing his leg as a result of a nearby explosion. Call of Duty Black Ops trailer. The name 'Black Ops' suggests that the campaign will be more about going deep behind enemy lines and performing missions that "never existed". The SR-71 Blackbird jet, a very fast and high-altitude flying reconnaissance aircraft of the Cold War, only adds up to the speculation parts of the campaign will contain secret operations. Treyarch confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops will contain Single-player, Multi-player and co-op mode's. Treyarch has not (yet) confirmed their upcoming title will contain zombies, as in Call of Duty: World at War.Call of Duty: Black Ops is set for release on November 9th 2010.
